Has anyone used ProActive for acne control?

I am 16 and have been having acne on mostly on my nose for a few years. The pimples are usually rather large and are painful and the skin on my nose is always really oily (except when i come out of the shower or pool which usually dries it out). I have tried regular over the counter medication but they didn't work. Would ProActive be a good solution for this situation?
