Why is my Flake both MAC Foundation?

I use the MAC Foundation. Studio Fix or whatever in NW43. I have it in summer and place it with my sponges / foundation brush, and looked so moist and flush especially pleasant. Now every time I put it, is all the scales and cracks. Only close however. I was using Clinique lotion below and peeling FIXED. So I thought maybe a creamy lotion would be put in the creamy base, but that has not worked. What am I doing wrong? I am looking at buying MAC products prime the face, but I'm not really a part of that money? Any suggestions? (And I'm not changing whether from foundations, I know that my shadow in the MAC and because it is relatively inexpensive for a high end product)??

Their skin is very dry, probably due to winter. Try using a strong moisturizer. Instead of a lotion, use a cream. Also, before you put foundation on, wait about three five minutes to make sure the moisturizer is completely absorbed.
