2 year old with bad eczema/ xerosis help?

my little girl has xerosis bad if i dont put elidel at least three times a day her skin gets red and looks like a bad cut. Im looking for any other type of treatment.

My daughter (age 9) has eczema and unfortunately, what works for one sufferer does not work for another. Get your child to an experienced dermatologist who will prescribe the best remedies. The first one might not work, you will have to be patient and keep trying until you find one that works. Typically, you will use a special moisturizer to prevent dryness (the one we use is by prescription only) and then a prescription for the rash breakout.

Please go to a dermatologist. You would take your broken car to a mechanic, take your daughter's skin problem to a skin doctor.

BTW, eczema in a child means that child is more prone to allergy problems as well as asthma. Eczema is actually a type of allergic reaction. This is only the start of your journey. Good luck!
