There are a few things you can do to speed up the fading, use baby oil, exfoliate and keep showering and swimming.

If you are trying to remove your tan you should keep using baby oil to moisturize your skin. Baby oil is made from certain elements that will lighten your tan and help you get rid of it. This is very easy if you are at the end of your tan and only left with patches of dark areas. Baby oil is solution number 1. Keep rubbing it on to your skin at least three times a day and then wash it of before you go to bed.

Those who are trying to preserve their tan are told never to exfoliate. This means if you want to get rid of your spray tan do exfoliate. What exfoliating your skin does is it removes the outermost layer of your dead skin cells. You wouldn't be able to remove than tan entirely if it is new but you can lessen it a lot on the first and second day if you keep trying. Don't forget to use something a little rough like a loofah instead of soft towel. The loofah will easily rub off the dead skin. For better results, stay in the tub for 10 minutes before using the loofah.

Another thing people who just got a new spray on tan are told to avoid is swimming pools. So in your case go swimming and stay in the pool as long as you can. The chlorine is a harsh chemical that isn't friendly to artificial tans. So go for a swim at the local pool or at your gym.

All you need to do is the opposite of what those who are trying to prolong their tan are doing. It will not be as easy to exfoliate everyday because you only shed very little a day. But you definitely should be able to significantly reduce your tan and remove it quicker. Go get yourself a bottle of baby oil and have plenty of water action, including long baths with exfoliation and lots of swimming. You should be able to remove it within 2 or 3 days.

What tanning oil/lotion works best for fair skin?

I've tried about 4 different types of tanning lotion/oil at the beach, but I dont see results and just get burned. I want to be tan, so which works best for fair skin and doesnt burn much? Any other helpful tips?

Hawain Tropic tanning oil Dark im very fair and i used it and i got a latino tan also coppertone in dark is ogood always buy a tan which is dark thats the only way u will notice a diffrence in your colour also coppertone cocunut shimmer tanning oil is good i combine them both
