Facial Cleanser Toner
After Using Facial Cleanser,DO you have to USe a toner?
Last night I used st ives apricot scrub ,follwing up with Marcelle's Facial face....my face kinda looks weird now...almost Like my pores are visible?,should I use a mosturizer??
whats a moisturizer for anyways?!
You don't usually need to use a toner, as most facial cleansers nowadays don't leave behind residue or makeup (which is what toners are supposed to remove, leftover dirt and makeup). If you do want to use one, make sure you choose one that's alcohol free (unless you have extremely oily/acne prone skin). As someone else said, your pores look visible because of the scrub, it's clearing them out. You should ALWAYS moisturize after you wash your face, it helps keep your skin balanced and happy. Dry, flaky skin looks dull and unhealthy. not attractive.
And a word of warning about the apricot scrub: be very gentle. The scrub is very abrasive, and really shouldn't be used every day.
