Will taking Oral Birth Control make me gain weight!?!?

I just got a perscription for Ortho Tri-cyclen from planned parenthood, because Im tired of having to take Plan B whenever theres a problem with the condom.

However, I am the type of girl who is VERY proud of her body and maintain a strict vegan diet as well as excercise to attemt to stay slim. This might sound dumb but I really dont want a pill to start messing up all my hard work!!

Also, my boobs are already a size 36DD, and i have heard that birth control makes your breasts bigger...is this true? because my boobs already draw alot of attention in comparison to the rest of me and idk if i really WANT bigger boobs :/

It all depends on the pill and the person. I have been on four different types. Some have made me gain weight and some have made me lose weight. Three of them made me gain weight. I gained 12 pounds on one. I lost 7 pounds on another. I have also gone from a small B to a full C cup. I know some people that haven't had any effects like this and I know others that have had stronger effects than I did. I would try it, give it at least three months, and if you don't like what it is doing then you can go off it and your body should go back to normal pretty quickly. But I would definitely give it at least three months because sometimes you can gain weight right away but you have to let your body adapt to the pill. Good luck!
