Every time fibrous tissues bond to replace skin which has injured through an injury or surgery is known as a scar. In the body, that is a normal process that happens to restore any wound on the skin and deeper tissues.
Over the process of recuperation, scars are very natural occurrence. The skin is different from the scar tissue. The hair would not grow back on scar tissue formation and it is common because it is not as elastic and flexible as the skin it replaced.
The red thick scar that happened from surgery or injury to the skin is known as scars hypertrophic. It grow only in the area of the skin injury dissimilar to the keloid scar that can grow into the outside area of the injury but both of this scar can be similar in shape and size at times.
On the other hand, the hypertrophic scar heals on it's own dissimilar to the keloid scar. The size of the scars hypertrophic will minimize but do not entirely disappear, and the tenderness to subside within 12 to 18 months unlike the keloid scars.
Similar events like injection, surgery, injury, acne and body piercing can triggered both keloid and hypertrophic scars but they do not have anything related to family history or ethnic background. The ears, shoulders, and breastbone are the usual place on the body for scars hypertrophic formed.
The Recovery of Hypertrophic Scars
Along with the swelling and sensations of pain decreasing in about 12 to 18 months, the scars hypertrophic usually heals with no help but you can increase the speed of the process with certain things like steroids injection or the topical application of steroid ointments and cream. The hypertrophic scars removal can be surgically accomplished. But typically hypertrophic scarring can occur from this method due to its surgical nature, and a board certified plastic surgeon is the only person to do this surgery.
To assist scars hypertrophic and other scars treat with these days technologies, people may use of silicone sheets for a certain length of time every day to have result. By stimulating the skin to cure itself overtime, the scar improve in appearance greatly. But it is suggested that you have to consult a doctor to ensure which path to consider to handle the hypertrophic scar.
Do an internet search for "acne cure" and you will get thousands of pages from companies trying to sell you the latest cleanser, to forum sites and message boards offering free advice. One thing they all have in common is they all claim to have an acne cure. However, if you make an appointment to see a dermatologist he or she will look you in the eye and tell you that an acne cure does not exist. What they will tell you is, there might not be a cure, but with medication we can control it.
It's understandable that people with acne that are searching for an acne cure are confused and frustrated to say the least.
The all important question for someone suffering with acne would be: Is there an acne cure? Face it people want to know the truth. The answer to that question is YES!
What is the CURE? Acne is actually caused by three things:
1. Imbalanced Hormones
2. Toxic colon/Diet Issues
3. Toxic and congested liver (cystic acne)
You will not hear any of these facts or ideas from your typical doctor or dermatologists. Why is that? Think about it, when you go see a doctor what usually happens? They will ask you what is the problem? When you respond to the question you are thus telling him or her, your symptoms. Once the doctor knows your symptoms he will then prescribe to you some type of medication or drug to suppress the symptoms. That is just the way the system works.
What I just mentioned is not just for acne per se, but can be attributed to just about any health ailment. Am I saying you should never take prescription medications from a doctor? No. What I am saying is for the treatment of acne, drugs are not necessary.
To treat acne and to cure it is absolutely essential that you address the root cause of the problem. Understanding that acne is an internal problem is the first step in the right direction.
Acne is a huge problem here in the United States but if people would take the time to look into alternative solutions rather than over the counter medications or trips to the doctor, acne problems could quickly become a thing of the past.

Laser skin treatment for rosacea (on the face). Has anyone had it? Does it hurt? Did it work?
I had it and it worked WONDERS!!! It stings when the laser flashes, but that's it. I had about 4 treatments which cost $140 each.
Depending on which type of rosacea you have will determine if it's helpful. I had the kind where my nose was red all the time and had occasional deep pimples. Now my nose is normal, for the first time in my life, and I'm 53. The only thing I do now is take one minocycline in the morning and put avar on my nose once a day - that's it.
For me, it was a miracle!
edit:
standard treatment for rosacea without laser is antibiotics, creams (metrogel - but did nothing for me), watching your diet - looking for triggers that cause flushing etc. Truly, my life was miserable for 30 years. I remember getting my red nose when I was only 13. I finally went to my first dermatologist at 19 and he was shocked that I had it so young. If you can only get one laser treatment, do it. It will help tremendously.
